Colour Analysis Service
Seasonal colour analysis is the process of assessing your skin's undertone, contrast level and clarity to determine which colours enhance your natural features. We do this using professional colour drapes grouped into the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter.
Colour analysis began in the 1980s when companies brought in 'Image Consultants' to enhance their employees' look in order to attract big-name clients. Today, we use it to bring out your best features, and give you the confidence to choose what really suits you.
Ariana is a qualified colour analyst, and offers three packages to suit your needs, as well as online analysis for those not local to Edinburgh, or who prefer not to have an in-person consultation. What makes us unique is that as Ariana is an experienced hair stylist of 16 years, she comes to colour analysis from a unique perspective, having been matching people with their best hair colours for years!
Body Typing & Facial Analysis
Body typing is using the David Kibbe system to analyse bone structure & height to deternmine your 'type', and therefore which shapes work best for you.
We feel the old system of using 'pear', 'apple', 'hourglass' etc is lacking in nuance and doesn't give an accurate reading of your shape. Kibbe's system is widely recognised amongst fashion stylists as the best tool in working out your best shapes.
Facial analysis is working out not only your face shape, but also your facial proportions, to allow us to advise as to the best hair cuts and styles for you.

Hair Colour Confidence can be booked online through our booking system; to book our Colour Confidence or Signature Style Consultation please email us at hello@houseoflilith.co.uk.
At the Signature Style appointment, full-length photos will be taken for body typing analysis which will then be done after the appointment and the results sent through in your digital report.
Online Service
If you'd prefer, we offer an online service in which we would ask for photos of yourself. These photos must be:
✔️In natural light as much as possible
✔️Facing the camera full-on, with no makeup
✔️Full length photos for the Signature package
✔️As many photos as possible
